John ‘Kneepads’ Boehner Caves… Again, Fails to Own The Message on Payroll Taxes

And congress punts on the social security tax for 60 days.  Losers.  Can’t wait to take another  Tea Party whack at the RINO leadership in November 2012.  The Republicans should be owning Obama and the Democrats on this, but the RINO’s are too stupid to get the right message out.

Here are the big problems.  First, 45 days from now, we start this all over again. Second, the payroll tax is technically the ONLY thing that funds social security.  The media and politicians are doing a disservice to all those Americans that have no idea its really FICA.

If you believe the mythical “trust fund”, then social security is being underfunded. Ever since social security was founded, politicians called it a retirement fund, NOW its a tax break?  I love it when pols play fast and loose with the language to suit their needs.

The really crazy part is that for decades the Democrats have been saying that it is the Republicans that want to take away grandma’s social security… have them eat dog food… throw them out of their homes at the mere mention of touching social security.  Now Obama has actually done it… raided social security for a $2.75 per day “tax break”.  Hell, GWB mentioned letting younger people take the same 2% Obama’s taking and letting younger people use it towards self-directed retirement options.  It made the liberals apoplectic.

Now Republicans can actually say that it is the Democrats destroying social security, and they punt. Talk about real opportunity to be on message, and put the liberals on defense. Losers.  At least the tea party pols have principles.

The Democrats are evil, but they message so much better than the RINO leadership.  The Democrats are complete frauds, they are just better at the message.

This is what we have.  The Democrats are evil and the Republican leadership is stupid.  What a lethal combination.

I heard that Harry Reid gave John Boehner a pair of monogrammed knee pads for Christmas.  The ones Harry gave him last year are falling apart.
